Frequently Asked Questions
Are there boys in the classes?
There are, and, after age 12, they are trained differently than girls. They work strength, flexibility, power and masculinity in movement.
Why begin training at your school? I am starting at less-serious school. Then I will see if my student is sure about dance training. I hear that you are strict!
Serious fun! That is us. Train correctly from day one, train in this style from the beginning. Ask any of the multitudes who have come to the school later and they will tell you how they wish that they had began here.
Do you have to take everything in the package?
It is necessary to do so for a career in dance but not necessary for recreational dance. It is your choice.
How has the school grown through 38 years and what can we expect now?
We offer more! We now see they value in the work for all in the community. There are men, women, children and teens all benefiting from this “serious fun.” Performances include more people and there are more performances to be a part of!
Why do you have the reputation that you do?
Our product is superb. Look at our dancers. High achievers, successful in school and in life and many in illustrious dance and theater careers. Successful doctors, lawyers, engineers, FBI agents, architects, business women & men as company directors, nurses, and happy with a love and respect for the arts!
